Hi there, this is Kristy! Thanks for stopping by my cottage on the 'net. If it looks a little unkept around here, it's because my sweet family of 5 just moved to a country cottage (a real one, that is) and this blog is taking a rest for a while.

I left the door unlocked just for you, so don't be afraid to take a peek around and enjoy yourself... the cookies and milk on the kitchen table are fresh, so help yourself. :o) Oh, and be sure to check out my "topics" and dig into the archives for even more goodies.

Meanwhile, Jeremy and I will be out gardening, canning veggies, planting flowers, wrangling goats and chickens, and otherwise making sense of this crazy (wonderful) thing called country life.

(Oh, and if you hear a bump in the other room, it's just me... unpacking boxes.)

Enjoy your stay!

P.S. I promise to update our family picture someday... maybe soon.

Counting my blessings...

God's blessings upon my life are far too numerous to count- even when I take my socks off. ;o)

But here are the four GREATEST blessings of my life:

Jeremy. My Prince. You have been my best friend, greatest encourager, silliest entertainer, and the love of my life for over 6 years now. You sing when I'm barely awake enough to function, make me laugh when I'm sober, tell me I'm skinny even when I'm pregnant (ha!), and love me when I'm grumpy. I thank God for you!

Amy. My protege. The beautiful little darling who inherited most of my strengths and weaknesses (sorry, baby). My precious first born- I'll never forget looking into your dark blue eyes and truly realizing for the first time, I'm a mother!

Emily. As delicate and sweet and small as your middle name, Rose. Your dimpled smile and mischievous ways brighten and harry my days by turn. You are my little treasure.

Keith. My first son; the pride and joy of your mama, daddy and sisters' hearts. Amazing how such a little life can make mine so very, very full. I love you more each day.

When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. ~Joyce Brothers
